Realization and Quality of Buildings, their use

Use of special insulation materials leading to improve the thermal characteristics of opening filling

Today, energy consumption of buildings is a very hot topic. Reduction of energy consumption of buildings goes in parallel with the technical systems of buildings, and precisely construction solution of buildings as such. The focus is on thermal and technical parameters of these structures, it is important to use composition of materials with a very low thermal conductivity, so called thermal insulants. With increasing of the thermal and the technical parameters of structures, there is a major development of insulation materials. Even though the traditional insulation materials are still being used, such that polysthyrene or mineral fiber, we often notice use of ecological materials and modern materials with a very low thermal conductivity. A thermal insulant aerogel can be listed as one of these materials. With regard to its price and characteristics, this material cannot find its use in the field of contact thermal insulation systems yet. The subject of this article is presentation of opportunities for use of this insulant in the field of construction, particularly in the manufacturing of window opening filling.

Acoustics of light fire resistant flat roof systems on a trapeze sheet PROTECTROOF®

Light roof shell on a trapeze sheet are nowadays dominantly used structures, such that shopping and logistics centres, manufacturing and warehouse halls etc. The newest systems, such as PROTECTROOF® system reach a very high fire resistence REI 15 - REI 45 DP1. Also in the field of acoustics, these light and economical structures show interesting characteristics. This article show acoustics of roofs, shell changes with respect to the used thermal insulation, hydro insulation, eventually when adding an extensive vegetal layers.

Acoustics of insulating systems ETICS

Evaluation of acoustic characteristics of insulating systems ETICS is at present great news in the Czech Republic, despite the fact that not complying with the acoustic characteristics of structures is among the most popular subjects of complaint of the buildings' residents. Substential impuls for the change in acoustics evaluation of the insulating systems ETICS was issuing the edition ETAG 004, which fundamentally changes the assessment in this field.

The paper reported values of thermal conductivity of the building system NOVATOP – element. It‘s building and construction system of large-size components glued of solid spruce wood. The bonding is used polyurethane adhesive.

The authors describe the lay out and conditiones of the unique international competition aimed at a good quality habitation designed in passive standard, including acoustic and fire protection aspects.
The experience from the eleven´s year volume of the competion by now, is presented. The competition settlement was a territory revitalisation in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Microclimate of school buildings and their decentralized ventilation systém

The article reviews the current unsatisfactory state of the microclimate of school buildings in the country. Describes the new concept of decentralized ventilation system presented by interior air handling unit, which was experimentally realized in the lab in an chemistry Elementary School in Jablonec nad Nisou.
