Internal Market (EU) for Construction Products
Alena Šimková
Economic operators involved in the supply and distribution chain for construction products faces a serious challenge. They have to become familiar with new obligations that will be in the new European legal framework governing the harmonized conditions for the marketing of construction products on the internal market from 1 July 2013 to perform. Article highlights the selected tasks of economic operators as defined in Regulation (EU) No 305/2011, on construction products, and refers to relevant information sources.
New development in the construction work tenders
Barbora Dubanská, Tereza Maternová
Another important step in the process of amending the Public Procurement Act is the recent release of its three implementing decrees. These decrees primarily relate to construction tenders. They complement and specify the new statutory requirements introduced by the Amendment. They deal namely with definition of subject-matter in construction tenders, commercial terms for construction tenders and reasoning of public tenders.

Lightning conductor on family houses, yes or no?
Jiří Kutáč
Lightning conductor – fire safety protection of buildings and persons, technical level, its components and classification. Overvoltage conductors SPD, type 1, 2, 3 and theirs use in new buildings and in existing buildings. Lightning conductor technical condition and its influence on performance in case of a claim payment.
Programme Meshgen Area 2011 introduction
Pavel Šála
Introducing new programme Meshgen Area 2011, designated to the initial data preparation for the programme AREA 2011, either directly in a graphic editor, or by import from DXF CAD files.
Indoor Climate Quality of Buildings
Air permeability of large open spaces
Viktor Zwiener
At present, family houses are dominating construction of the passive and low-energy consumption houses. This trend is more often seen in context of construction of the administrative and residential buildings. The interest is therefore shifted towards these buildings. One of the important parameters of a correct functionality of these buildings are also air-tight measures of the envelopes. This is predominantly controlled by a blower door method, in the Czech Republic, in Europe, and in ccordance with ČSN EN 13829:2001 [4].

Thermal insulation of buildings in Germany
František Vörös
German chemical industry position that is often referred to in construction, is in EU-27 dominant. Energy production programmes, energy-savings measures in buildings and decrease of emissions CO2 before 2050, are elaborated on a central and on a local level, are financially subsidised.
Realization and Quality of Buildings, their use
Excessive moisture at inclined and steep rous
Jaroslav Solař
In few past decades, rooms are being integrated into attic (living areas, offices, etc.). Original non-heated and non-insulated areas under the roof hence transforms into heated and insulated areas. The original roof layers (comprising of roof tiles and roof boarding), therefore comprises of additional layers that have thermo and moisture impact on the composition of these layers.
The article discusses moisture failure in inclined and steep roofs, resulting in either leaking water, or in water wapour condensation at the lower (internal) roof layers and inside of the roof structure.

Designing single floor family houses in a passive energy standard
Jan Antonín, Petr Kotek
Designed passive houses, even if compliant with all design principles, are not really always passive. Methodology that was recently developed in faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University, enables more accurate assessment of the complete building complexes of various dimensions, including structural design, resulting in development of a new tool in assessing key parametres and determination of extent of the total energy performance of buildings.
Introducing this method, its application and conclusions on an example of a single floor family houses design, so called „bungalow", where reaching the passive standard (as known), is very difficult.
Internal thermal insulation impact on climate in a Pasove house in summer season
Aleš Hrdlička
The article shows on a descriptive example an impact on internal climate in a passive house (fig. 1) of the internal thermal insulation and its dependance on number of persons, household equipment and appliances, including their use. The article shows and compares results, obtained from a particular household sample research and normative figures.

German requirements for fire protection ETICS. Conditions for ETICS and double ETICS in a lintel
Marcela Jonášová, Petra Peláková
Different requierements for fire protection of ETICS structures is being discussed in German legal regulations. Particular attention is paid to the required conditions for the structural design of ETICS in a lintel, including solution to the detail for various additions to the existing ETICS secondary thermal insulation systems.
